keep going the doctor said.
the secret of life.
the sun is gone now
and grey clouds filled with snow storms
breathe cold winter wind.
my daughter reading
a story she wrote herself.
I’m holding my breath
breathe in, breathe out and

Thank you for the kind words Brian and Patricia. I had a devil of a time with this prompt and wasn’t entirely satisfied with what came of it, but they’ll do.
And Brian, I think that you and I are competing for most entries posted at Poetry Thursday. It’s almost like we have nothing better to do. Such is life.

It is so easy to be caught up in the rushing of day to day; a great reminder to slow down and enjoy the simplicity of life itself.

I like it. It seems so clear.
Keep writing.
The girls will like it, too.
